Paul James created the character of The Dowager Lady Crabtree in 1978 and has been performing as her for over 46 years.

LADY CRABTREE has been entertaining audiences since April 1978

and can be booked to
give talks to clubs, groups & societies,
Women's Institutes and Townswomen's Guilds,
the U3A, Probus, Lions & Rotary,
speak at lunches and afternoon teas,
open fetes, fairs, cut ribbons, present prizes & awards,
can help celebrate a special birthday or anniversary,
act as compere at concerts & galas,
host corporate functions & award ceremonies,
appear in stage shows/variety,
entertain at charity & fundraising events,

Lady C gives a jocular account of her life and work, with the occasional comic monologue
thrown in for good measure. From her early days in the theatre to becoming a society hostess;
from her career in the Royal Household to her public life today... it has truly been a life of variety.
